“This was totally unprecedented…and we were very honored to attend”
With incredible generosity, LifeBook Memoirs author Alan Beckett arranged an event to celebrate his LifeBook project and promote the LifeBook experience in the Staffordshire area. This was totally unprecedented in the history of LifeBook and we were honored to attend. He invited his LifeBook project team, and LifeBook founder Roy Moëd, to speak and have lunch with 120 of his close friends and associates.
The event took place at the spectacular venue – The Moat House, Acton Trussell, Staffordshire.
The whole event and venue were very personal to Alan
The Moat House was actually built by Alan’s son and, with his grandchildren in attendance, he mentioned how the whole event and venue were very personal and special to him. If you want to hear more from Alan, we filmed his speech in the video below.
At the end of the event, Alan’s grandson Alex and wife Emma kindly agreed to be interviewed and be filmed for the website. They answered the following question “What did you think of the book when you first saw it?”
LifeBook founder Roy attended the event and said: “It was such an honor to be part of Alan’s special day. To see a man so humble and generous host a champagne reception, lunch and presentation for 120 people…we are truly honored to have a customer like this …it says so much more than a Trustpilot rating.”
